Our mission is to provide our clients with
the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. We shall treat
each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were
caring for a member of our own family.
We Are Committed To the Highest Quality
Staff
-
All caregivers are Comfort KeepersŪ
employees, not independent contractors. That means:
~ We handle all payroll tax withholdings
~ We insure and bond our employees
~ Caregivers are covered by Workers’ Compensation while in a client’s home
-
Not everyone can be a Comfort KeeperŪ.
~ Our caregivers, special people we call Comfort Keepers, undergo a rigorous
screening and interviewing process:
-
Multiple face-to-face interviews with
different staff members
-
Extensive background checks including
a national and county criminal background check and driving record
-
Professional and personal reference
checks
Training Makes All the Difference
-
Comfort Keepers undergo core training
before they begin caring for a client
-
Our Comfort Keepers are trained to
provide a unique type of care called Interactive Caregiving™ that considers
the “whole person” and caring “with” versus caring “for” the client
-
We provide ongoing training
opportunities in areas such as dementia care so we are able to meet the
changing needs of our clients and their family members
-
We make periodic supervisory visits to
a client’s home to ensure the highest quality of care is provided
