*Objectives of the organization:

RSC is an organization of professionals who network together, encourage one another with continuing education programs and provides opportunities for senior service provider participation. It provides seniors with resources focused on health, wealth, social and spiritual concerns. Members are considered “first hand” resources, and supply much of the needed information that seniors or care-givers need for their well-being. Members stay abreast of the latest emerging trends in services and resources that are available to assist the mission of RSC and its benefactors, the senior adult community.

*How the organization serves Senior Adults:

RSC accomplishes it service to seniors with a “hands on” approach and the objectives are connected with senior events and activities. RSC members coordinate and complete four senior focused programs yearly, such as: picnics, Christmas at Westbrook, fishing trips, ice cream events, and educational projects. These programs focus on providing both social and spiritual avenues of outreach enabling RSC members to better serve seniors and caregivers.

*How the organization benefits Senior Providers:

At each monthly meeting, RSC members are provided an opportunity to hear from guest speakers on the latest trends, outcomes and services available and working effectively in the senior services industry.  Members will also have an opportunity to be guest speakers themselves, providing on-going information to other members in the community about the great works, products and services offered to the senior community.  Additionally, RSC benefits its members through technology and practical services such as: Website links for the businesses, Facebook and Linked-In networking contacts and opportunities and hands-on participation and exposure to the seniors in the community.
